Cardlay, an Odense, Denmark-based company specialising in payments solutions, announced getting into a DKK 30M ($4.81M) round A investment agreement.

The money comes from investors including SEB Venture and SEED Capital, and angel investors Thorleif Krarup, Klaus Holse, Jørgen Bardenfleth and Herbert Nathan.

Cardlay, founded in 2016 by Jørgen Christian Juul, who previously founded Wallmob, provides tools for banks to manage payment cards, expense management, financial forecasting and a digital platform to increase customer engagement, loyalty and earnings. Cardlay’s platform allows banks to issue, load and manage payment cards in real time.

The company didn't register revenues in the official books yet and lastly raised $4M at the end of 2016.

Cardlay is also one of the companies we anticipated it was going to raise money to further grow.
