Carv, a London, UK-based developer of wearables for skiers, announced completing a $2.5 million capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Artesian Ventures, an Australia-based VC. Existing shareholders - New York SOSV, Europe’s FastVentures and angel investors whose name remained undisclosed - also participated in the round.

Carv, founded in 2013 by Jamie Grant and Pruthvikar Reddy, developed a wearabled device tracking ski-related data and which uses motion and pressure sensing hardware. The data is provided to the consumer via a mobile app, acting as a digital ski coach that can offer real-time audio coaching and detailed in-app analysis.

Carv previously raised $2M.
