Catenda secured $7 million from OBOS, Spring Capital Polaris and Veidekke

Catenda, an Oslo, Norway-based company developing a cloud based collaboration platform for the construction industry, announced the completion of a capital raise totalling NOK 65M ($7.1 million).

The funding was backed by private investors from Norway, including Spring Capital Polaris, OBOS and Veidekke. According to the Norwegian media, the money will be drawn in three tranches by 2021.

Catenda, founded in 2009 as a spin-off from SINTEF Building and Infrastructure by CEO Håvard Brekke Bell and Ole Jørgen Karud, develops a product named Bimsync, a cloud based collaboration platform that makes it easy to collaborate between all stakeholders in construction projects with an easy to use interface, intuitive 3D visualisation, powerful issue management and secure digital data management.
