CE Check, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company developing a web service for making it easy to verify CE marking compliance, announced taking in SEK 2.3M ($250k).

Investors include Arash Fard Rahmani and Louis Hedberg Investments AB, both of whom have invested through Connect Sweden.

The money will be used to expand its business by developing a new part of the service for CE-marking of e-health apps and a digitized quality management system. CE Check has also initiated a recruitment process to expand the sales team.

CE Check, founded in 2016 by Tobias Rydell, built a SaaS service that has digitized the certification process for the EU environmental and safety labeling (CE marking). Their product reduced the time it takes to search for the right standards from several days to less than 30 minutes.

Prior to this, CE Check raised money from Propel Capital as it was accepted into STING in 2018.
