Chip maker from Sweden, Acconeer, gets a massive round of SEK 60 millions from Korean strategic investors, aims for IPO
Acconeer, a Malmö, Sweden-based Chip maker, announced getting a SEK 60M ($7M) investment capital from Korean strategic investors.
The money will be used to prepare the company for an IPO, and comes, among others, from two important industrial investors from the same group, with 7.5 % each - Korean companies Uniquest and Dream Tech, both of which are suppliers to consumer electronics companies such as Samsung and LG.
Acconeer, founded in 2011 and led by CEO Lars Lindell, a radar sensor company.
With the new round, the company has received a total of SEK 100 million since its founding.
