Circular in a $7.5 million series A deal led by Kibo Ventures.
Circular, a Madrid, Spain-based startup building a recruiting marketplace for candidates with tech background, announced securing $7.5 million in series A capital round.
The money was raised from investors led by Spanish VC Kibo Ventures, and joined by Point Nine Capital, LocalGlobe, All Iron Ventures, eFounders, Kima Ventures and Shilling.
Circular, founded in 2018 by CEO Pedro Torrecillas and Teo Ruiz, developed a marketplace network providing access to tech professionals to organizations in search of hiring talent and contacting pre-selected candidates. The candidates are initially vetted and evaluated by in-house recruiters from tech companies sharing candidates with each other - the company says it manages an internal network of 5,500 internal recruiters and has a database of 19,000 candidates.
Circular was initially pre-seeded by Point Nine Capital and LocalGlobe back in 2019.
