Content Central gets SEK 7M in equity investment for further developing its media platform.

Content Central, a Umeå, Sweden-based startup providing a media platform for journalists, announced raising SEK 7M ($800k) in a new investment round. The investors include Fort Knox and Partnerinvest Norr and the money will be used for expanding the services in the UK.

Content Central, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Joachim Ljungquist, has developed a platform connecting freelance journalists with potential customers interested in media stories.

Prior to this investment, the company received $200k from 500 Nordics.
