Convious in a $12 million investment deal led by Begin Capital.
Convious, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based SAAS developer of an ecommerce platform for thematic parks operators, raised $12M in Series A funding.
The money was raised from investors led by Begin Capital with participation from Market One Capital, MillionMonkeys, FJ Labs and existing shareholders Capital Mills.
The proceeds will be used to expand further, opening up offices in the US, France, UK, Germany, and other countries, and extend the sales and the product development teams.
Convious, founded in 2017 by CEO Camiel Kraan and Kevin Westermeijer, developed a software solution helping leisure operators to connect with their visitors, enhance their experience, increase conversions and manage all internal operations from a single place. The platform is processing all sales transactions, including tickets, food, and even hotel accommodations and uses machine learning in order to convert visitors with personalized offers, sell tickets at dynamic real-time prices, provides buying experience and analytics on the guests’ experience. Customers include 125 companies from 16 countries such as SnowWorld, Plopsa Group and Looping Group, supported by 65 employees.
