Encord secured $4.4 million in a round backed by CRV.

Encord, a London, UK-based developer of software tools used for categorizing data, announced the completion of a $4.4 million.

The money was raised from investors including the American backers from CRV.

Encord, founded in 2020 by Eric Landau, Leeho Lim and Ulrik Stig Hansen, developed a suite of powerful tools allowing for seamless collaboration across roles and teams, from domain-expert annotators to project managers and machine learning engineers.

Encord was part of the European startups at Y Combinator in winter 2021.
