Cosuno in a €12.5 million round led by Spark Capital.
Cosuno, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building a B2B marketplace for the construction industry, announced completing a €12.5 million ($15.2M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by the American VC Spark Capital, with contributions from the existing shareholders from Cherry Ventures, as well as from Apic Investments, a vehicle of the Austrian real estate group (formerly called Signa Innovations) and from local manufacturer from Germany Peri.
The round was joined by a number of angel investors from Germany, including Hakan Koç and Christian Bertermann (Auto1 founders), Getyourguide CEO Johannes Reck, Carsten Thoma, who sold his software company Hybris in 2013 for €1+ billion to SAP, and the three founders from Sennder, Nicolaus Schefenacker, Julius Köhler and David Nothacker.
Cosuno, founded in 2018 by Christoph Berner, Fritz Cramer and Maximilian Seifert, developed a digital platform helping project managers from the construction industry get access to all sorts of contractors related to their industry. Customers include architects and building contractors who pay a monthly fee for the SAAS software - the plaform has a database of around 80,000 subcontractors.
