Cuyna to raise €1.5 million from Spanish investors led by Unidata.
Cuyna, a Madrid, Spain-based software startup building a network of dark kitchens, announced the completion of a funding round of €1.5 million ($1.8M).
The money was raised from Spanish investors led by Unidata.
Cuyna was founded in 2020 CEO Jaime Martínez de Velasco, Pablo Portillo and Ramón Pedro Servalls as it aims to ride the dark kitchen trend. The company says it operates a hybrid business model, one that involves rental of kitchen spaces 100% optimized for delivery and another that is a digital franchise done with their own kitchen staff and other restaurants brands.
