Cyscale raised €3 million in a funding round led by Notion Capital.
Cyscale, a Cluj Napoca, Romania-based SAAS startup, raised a seed round closed at €3 million ($3.2M).
The money was raised from multiple investors led by the British-based Notion Capital, and joined by Gapminder Venture Partners, Seedcamp, as well as by angel investors Micha Hernandez van Leuffen, ex-Wercker and now Fiberplane and NP-Hard Ventures; and David Mytton, founder of Console.dev and Server Density.
Cyscale, founded at the end of 2018 by Ovidiu Cical, Manuela Țicudean, Laura Cical and Andrei Milaș, developed a SAAS platform used for B2B security, compliance & governance services. The tool aims to become a security knowledge graph for organisations, ingesting data from multiple sources and generating an in-depth contextual analysis for their cloud assets, with a compliance module that helps security leaders track gaps between any policies they’ve defined and their technical implementations in the cloud.
Cyscale previously was pre-seeded by Gapminder and raised some money via a local equity crwodfunding platform.
