Danish Samlino.dk raises DKK 15M

In August 2015, Samlino got a funding of 15 million DKK (€ 2 million) from its investors. Among the private investors were two well-known names in the finance world, Lars Seier Christensen, the founder and director of Saxo Bank, and the former CEO of Nordea, Thorleif Krarup, who both believe in Samlino’s vision, reports Berlingske Business. Thorleif Krarup hopes that his contribution can help to pull Samlino into a new, profitable stage.

Among other investors is an investment company Nova Founders Capital. According to Samlino’s CEO, Pitzner-Jørgensen, a large part of the newly gained capital will be used on marketing to make the portal generally known. The aim is to get Samlino’s name out there and help its partners to get in touch with as many users as possible.
