Digitale Medier 1881 AS to be acquired by Kistefos.

Kistefos, an Oslo, Norway private equity company has signed an agreement to purchase Digital Media 1881 AS.

Digital Media 1881 offers digital catalog services and digital services like 1881.no, real estate prices and accounting figures.

The acquisition is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2017 and Digital Media 1881 (1881.no) will be coordinated with the operation of the Opplysningen 1881 AS, also owned by Kistefos, since 2007,

Digital Media 1881 offers digital catalog services, and its main business is aimed at the SMB (Small and Medium Business) market with ranking and exposure on 1881.no and on mobile channels. The Opplysningen 1881 business provides telephone and SMS inquiries in addition to other user-paid services.

Digital Media 1881 expects revenue of over NOK 180 million this year and a gross operating profit of over 38 million.
