Dirac raises $8.6M from CNI.

Dirac, an Uppsala, Sweden-based company providing digitally-optimized sound solutions, completed a SEK 78M ($8.6M) investment round.

The deal values the company at SEK 650M pre-money and was supported by existing investor Club Network Investment - CNI.

Dirac, founded in 2001 and led by co-founder and CEO Mathias Johansson, delivers optimized sound solutions for mobile, automotive, residential and commercial environments. The company's digital sound optimization technologies are used by custmoers such as electronics manufacturers. Dirac has its headquarters in Sweden and has representatives in Japan, USA, Korea, Germany and China.

The announcement comes shortly after DIrac made a series of regional corporate developments, including the appointment of a Korea country manager, Michael Yeom,, a China Country Manager, Tony Ye, the opening of Dirac China, its regional headquarters in Shenzhen; and licensing agreements with some of Asia’s largest consumer technology brands.

Prior to this capital infusion, in 2017, Dirac raised SEK 44M ($5M) from investors including John Wattin, Staffan Persson, Henrik Didner, Rami Yacoub, Jörgen Lantto and Chinese AAC Technologies - a leading global provider of micro-component solutions for the mobile industry
