Dispelix to raise funding from Flashpoint VC.
Dispelix, an Espoo, Finland-based manufacturer of see-through displays for augmented reality, completed a capital funding round of €10 million ($12.1M).
The money was raised from investors including Flashpoint VC, which contributed with half of it via its Flashpoint Venture Debt Fund.
Dispelix, founded in 2011 by CEO Antti Sunnari as a spin-out from VTT Technical Research Center of Finland, is a designer and fabless manufacturer of mass manufacturable diffractive waveguide displays.
The company licenses its full colour Laser Beam Scanning (LBS) projection technology to customers developing game products for mainstream AR markets.
Dispelix previously raised $13.7M in 2018 out of a total of almost $15 million.
