Disruptive Technologies completes a $9.7M capital investment round led by Nysnø.

Disruptive Technologies, a Bergen, Norway-based company manufacturing wireless sensors for the Internet of Things (IoT) market, completed a NOK 85M ($9.7M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by new and existing investors, including the state-owned Nysnø, which contributed with NOK 20M. The largest equity holders include Ubon Partners, founder Erik Fossum Færevaag, Ferd, TD Veen, Geir Førre, Norselab and Nysnö.

Disruptive Technologies, founded in 2013 by CEO Erik Fossum Færevaag, develops and manufactures small sensors that can be used for any contexts, have 15 years of battery life, and communicate with the cloud via a mobile base station.

Prior to this round, Disruptive Technologies raised about $35M in outside capital.
