Divvit was acquired by British company VE Global.
Divvit, a Lund, Sweden-based digital marketing startup that specialises in analytics, insights and revenue attribution, announced getting into an agreement for being acquired by Ve Global, a London, UK-based engagement and analytics solution for e-commerce brands.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed, while Ve Global announced that it has already made a financial commitment of approx. £500k to incorporate its advanced analytics and attribution solutions to Ve’s existing product offering.
The deal, which is a combination of equity and funding, sees Ve become the majority shareholder in Divvit and will significantly strengthen the company’s position in the ecommerce analytics market. Divvit will continue to operate primarily from its Lund base in Sweden, with service to existing clients unaffected.
Divvit, founded in 2015 by current CEO David Linell, developed a platform tracking customer engagements online to identify the most effective digital marketing channels for over 350 online brands.
The company has 9 employees and raised about $1.7M from angel investors including Erik Fischbeck, Gert Nordin, Michael Silfverberg and Patrik Mellin.
