eConsult Health, a London, UK-based operator of a medical consultation platform used for digital triage, announced that it completed a funding round of £7 million ($9.7M).

The money was raised from investors led by Gresham House Ventures and including Calculus Capital and other shareholders.

eConsult, founded in 2013 and led by CEO Murray Ellender, developed a proprietary, clinician led bank of 10,000+ questions produced using evidence-based medicine, NICE guidance, Clinical Knowledge Summaries and NHS.UK sources. It efficiently records patient details, case history, symptoms, and provides them to the GP in a concise format where they are processed in 2-3 minutes.
