Edflex to raise €5M

Edflex, a Paris, France-based software developer aggregating educational content sold B2B, raised €5 million ($6M).

The money was raised from investors from France, including MAIF Avenir, We Positive Invest (Crédit Mutuel Arkea), Bpifrance and the COO of ContentSquare Nicolas Fritz.

Edflex, founded in 2016, developed a software tool that aggregates a multitude of online content (videos, podcats, articles, etc.) and offers a curation of the most relevant results, selling the results to companies willing to encourage employees to train themselves. Edflex crawls more than 40,000 content sources, covering around a hundred themes such as soft skills, management, marketing and even accounting. The company says it has 500,000 users, half of which are outside France, and paying customers include large groups such as Allianz, Groupe SEB, or SNCF.
