EG acquired the Danish-owned IT company Sonlinc A / S
EG, a Herning, Denmark-based software company, announced that it acquired the Danish-owned IT company Sonlinc A/S, which provides service and software for the utility industry.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition strengthens EG's position in the utility market, where EG has gathered its existing utility business in its public division under the direction of Rasmus Dalby Martinussen.
Sonlinc, led by CEO Kaspar Mondrup, optimizes business processes and provides service and software for a utilities industry in transformation. Sonlinc's standard solution, SonWin, is used for customer services, trading and billing of power, water, heating, gas, waste and internet.
EG, led by CEO Mikkel Bardram, is a software company with more than 1,000 employees working from 24 locations in
Scandinavia and Poland, claiming to have served more than 9500 clients.
