ekonoke to raise of EUR 422k from Eatable Adventures and angel investors from Spain.

ekonoke, a Madrid, Spain-based indoor vegetable producer, announced that it raised EUR 422k ($497k) in capital investment.

The fundingw as provided by Eatable Adventures and five business angels from Spain - Gonzalo Ramírez-Martiarena, Juan Ignacio Amat, César Melo and Rafael Serrano.

ekonoke, founded in 2016 by Ana Sáez and Ines Sagrario, initially started as a vertical cultivatator of aromatic and edible flowers in a greenhouse. The company later switched to to hydroponic cultivation of lettuce and microgreens in a controlled environment with a strong scientific base.
