Elk Audio in a $2.8 million equity round backed by LEDNIL, Bemo Invest, Navare Förvaltning and Augmented Ideas.
Elk Audio, a Stockholm, Sweden-based music company developing a smart tech for musical instruments, raised an equity financing round closed at SEK 26.25 million ($2.8M).
The money was raised from investors from Sweden, including Lednil, Bemo Invest, Navare Invest, Augmented Ideas XL and Almi invest.
Elk Audio, founded as Mind Music Labs in 2014 by CEO Raffaele Curci and Michele Benincaso, started as a manufacturer of Sensus, world’s first smart guitar build by Strativari violin builders. Sensus is a real wooden guitar built as a true IoT device which can receive, process and share music and data while playing. The company later expanded into developing technologies based on audio operating system called Elk enabling a new generation of connected musical instruments and audio processors
