Emitwise extended its seed funding round by $3.2 million from ArcTern Ventures and angel investors.
Emitwise, a London, UK-based developers of a SAAS platform used for automatically measuring and reporting carbon footprint in real-time, announced a $3.2 million funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Canadian VC ArcTern Ventures, joined by angel investors Peter Harrison, the CEO of Schroders; Magnus Rausing, Saltwater (Uber co-founder Ryan Graves’ investment firm).
The deal represents an extension to a $3.4M seed funding round backed by True Ventures, Social Impact Capital, Lightbird Ventures and others announced in September 2020.
Emitwise, founded in 2019 by Benjamin Peddie, Eduardo Gómez and CEO Mauro Cozzi, developed a software platform helping companies to automatically measure, report, and reduce their carbon footprint across their operations and supply chain, future-proofing businesses for a zero-carbon world. The tool integrates with ERP systems and complies with auditing and disclosure systems like CDP, GHG and TCFD.
