Entis secured EUR 400k from Maki.vc.

Entis, a Turku, Finland-based manufacturer of insect-based food products, announced getting into an investment agreement for raising EUR 400k ($440k). The capital was provided by the venture investor from Finland Maki VC.

Entis (Entomophagy Solutions Oy), founded in 2017 and led by CEO Samuli Taskila, develops insect-based food products. The company has four product families on the market - out of those, Entis Sirkkasukla and Entis Bugbites protein snack, will be sold via the German retail chain Kaufland, in Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Croatia.

The company's products are also sold in Finnish grocery stores.

Prior to this round, Entis raised an angel round in 2018.
