Erhvervsinvest buys Bogballe, a manufacturer of fertiliser spreaders, in a $80M deal.

Erhvervsinvest, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based mid-market private equity firm, announced the purchase of Bogballe, a Danish manufacturer of fertiliser spreaders.

The deal values Bogballe at around DKK 500M ($79M) and was made from Erhvervsinvest's €196M fourth fund, Erhvervsinvest IV, recently closed.

Bogballe, founded by Anders Peter Laursen in the 1930s and led by CEO Nils Jörn Laursen, is one of the worlds leading manufacturers of fertiliser spreaders. Prior to the Erhvervsinvest deal was owned by the fourth generation of the Laursen family.
