EVRY buys Icecon Affärssystem AB, strengthening its position as a leading Microsoft partner for Dynamics NAV.
EVRY, one of the largest Nordic IT service companies, announced its intention to acquire Icecon Affärssystem, strengthening its position as a leading Microsoft partner for Dynamics NAV. The acquisition was finalised in april 2017.
EVRY, headquartered in Oslo, was established through a merger between EDB Business Partner and ErgoGroup in 2010 and has 10,000 employees at 135 offices in 16 countries. The company, led by CEO Fredrik Almén, supplies services relating to computing, including operation, outsourcing and online banking.
In August 2014, EVRY announced that it was initiating a process to investigate strategic opportunities. This was motivated by their assessment of the IT sector in the Nordic countries.[7] In March 2015 Apax Partners became the majority owner of the company, a new board was appointed and it decided to apply for a de-listing from the stock exchange.[8] On 29 October 2015, the company was delisted from the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Icecon Affärssystem, founded in 2010 and led by CEO and coowner Staffan Hansson, specialises in Microsoft Dynamics NAV with industry verticals such as Transport, Lease, and Logistics. The company has 11 employees and offices in Gothenburg, Umeå, and Luleå, Sweden.
