F-Secure acquired Digital Assurance, a UK-based security consultancy firm.

F-Secure, a Helsinki, Finland-headquartered security company, announced the purchasing of Digital Assurance – a UK-based security consultancy firm offering information security assessment services to governments and private companies.

The terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.

The acquisition will allow F-Secure to combine its security solutions and services with Digital Assurance's current offerings, having access to the UK-based organizations with the help of a single vendor.

Digital Assurance, founded by CEO Greg Jones and based in London, UK, specializes in security testing services that assess the security of devices, systems, and applications, as well as entire organizations and broad infrastructure. The company works with governments and clients in sectors including finance, petrochemical, retail, communication, and defence.
