Fall Damage Studio raises SEK 1M for a new gaming shop founded by the former Dice founders.

Fall Damage, a Stockholm, Sweden-based studio, secured SEK 1M ($112k) in funding for setting up a new gaming company. The backers include Goodbye Kansas Game Invest, which appointed its investment manager, Maria Tjärnlund, as chairman of the board.

Fall Damage, founded in December 2016 by gaming veterans Anders Gyllenberg, Dan Vaderlind, Markus Nyström and Mikael Kalms, is an indie game studio focused on creating games with the player in mind in a cooperative and positive work environment. The startup has seven employees located at SUP46 and their first project will be built in Unity.
