Fever, a Madrid, Spain and London, UK-based company operating a business based on a local events discovery app, completed $12 million in funding.

The money was provided by Accel Partners, Fidelity and 14W Ventures and included Bernardo Hernandez’s Solon Inversiones.

All three international firms were part in the Series A round, which was raised just six months ago.

The investment was recently disclosed in a SEC filing and I’ve later confirmed with various sources close to the company its size and the name of the investors behind Fever’s Series B. These sources also say that Fever’s valuation has doubled.

Fever, founded in Barcelona in 2011 by Pep Gomez as an app for the nightclub industry and consumers, built a business around a local events discovery app.

Total investments received (USD): 288.3M
