finleap connect raised €22 million in a round led by Softbank and joined by Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital

finleap connect, a Berlin, Germany-based software developer of banking solutions, announced the completion of a €22 million ($26M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Softbank (SBI Investment), with participation from Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital, a Luxembourg-based fintech investor.

finleap connect was spunoff in 2019 by a German venture builder, which acquired figo, finreach solutions and infinitec solutions, and put them under the same umbrella, developing an open banking full-stack platform.

The platform allows customers to access financial transactions, enrich the transactions with data & analytics tools, and ultimately deliver seamless digitized financial services to customers. finleap connect says it has 150 employees at five different European locations supporting around 360 clients from Germany, France, Italy and Spain, including Bonify and Auxmoney.
