Food ordering app OrderYoYo have raised DKK 18.5M from SEED Capital
OrderYoYo, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing software as a service for restaurnat businesses, raised approx.DKK 18.5M ($2.8M) in funding.
The money comes from SEED Capital via its third fund and the company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform and expand operations. In conjunction with the deal, Ulla Brockenhuus-Schack, managing partner at Seed Capital, will join OrderYoyo’s board, along with Preben Damgaard and Jesper Johansen.
Seed Capital first backed OrderYoyo in mid-2015 and invested in a second round for the company in November of the same year.
OrderYoYo, founded in 2014 by CEO Thor Angelo, is developing a freemium web and mobile ordering app and printer terminal for restaurants to reach and engage customers. Available on the web, for iOS and Android, the system enables restaurant managers to communicate directly with regular customers and deliver offers and new menus.
