FoodDocs raises €2M in a round led by Bonnier Ventures and Forward Venture Capital.

FoodDocs, a Talinn, Estonia-based software startup developing a food safety management system used to create and monitor any kind of food safety procedure, announced raising series A funding round closed at €2M ($2.3M).

The money was raised from investors co-led by Bonnier Ventures and Forward Venture Capital, joined by Spring Capital and United Angels VC.

Proceeds will be used for expansion in the US and the UK to reach more clients and partners, and further improve AI capabilities.

FoodDocs, founded in 2017 by Karin Repp and CEO Katrin Liivat, developed a software tool called Food Safety Management System, helping create and monitor any kind of food safety procedure, compliant with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). The company says it works with 15,000 customers including Huboo, Smart Lunches, the Oxford Food Co., and Bolt Market.
