Forecast secures capital investment from Sunstone Capital and SEED Capital.

Forecast, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing a software as a service project management tool, announced securing DKK 18M ($2.8M) in capital investment.

The money comes from new and existing investors, including Sunstone Capital and SEED Capital.

Forecast, founded in 2016 by Danny Larsen and Dennis Kayser, developed a cloud-based software solution that automatically connects a company’s projects and business data, being able to deliver precise forecasts of how many resources you need to spend on a given project by recognizing patterns from earlier projects.

The company has 22 employees, expanded from two to 32 countries and will open a New York office by the end of 2018.

Prior to this deal, Forecast secured $900k.
