FundedByMe has taken over Feminvest, a Swedish female investment network.
FundedByMe, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company managing an equity crowdfunding platform, announced that it acquired Feminvest, a local network of female investors based in Sweden.
The financial details of the deal remained undisclosed.
Feminvest will be run by Michaela Berglund, CMO FundedByMe and will provide training, strategic advice and services in investor relations and other financial communications.
FundedByMe, founded in 2011 and led by CEO Daniel Daboczy, developed a platform that offers funding support and marketing through equity crowdfunding. The company has more than 250,000 registered investing members from nearly 200 countries.
FundedByMe raised almost $4M in capital investment and announced its intentions of floating its shares publicly by 2019. Earlier in 2018, the company announced the acquisition of Swedish consulting company Laika Consulting.
