GameBoks added angel investment from Nicolai Jørgensen

GameBoks, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company working on manufacturing a wooden-based playing console, secured a DKK 250k ($38k) capital investment. The money was provided by the Danish football player Nicolai Jørgensen.

GameBoks, founded in 2018 by CEO Anthon Schrader and Steffen From Pedersen, built a designed gaming station made of high quality wood. The wooden case has a built-in display, cooling system and various connectors, which makes it possible to take a gaming console such as a Playstation on the go. The company also claims to work with a few football players, including Mesut Özil, Manuel Lanzini and Lucas Pérez.
