GameRefinery was acquired by Vungle

GameRefinery, a Helsinki, Finland-based SaaS mobile gaming analytics company, announced that it was acquired by the American mobile performance advertising provider Vungle.

Financial details were not disclosed. GameRefinery’s co-founders Markus Råmark (CEO), Veli-Pekka Julkunen, and Joel Julkunen, as well as the entire GameRefinery team, will join the Vungle organization. The team will continue to operate out of the company’s offices in Helsinki.

GameRefinery, founded in 2014, provides a game Intelligence platform for developers at world-class studios such as Zynga, King, Rovio, Ubisoft and more to get access to retention and monetization insights.

The company’s deep contextual data sets across 160,000+ gaming apps bring innovative targeting capabilities to Vungle’s platform, helping advertisers deliver contextually relevant campaigns and increase user acquisition performance in today’s privacy-focused, post-IDFA landscape.

GameRefinery previously raised money from Visionplus.
