Geomiq raised £2.9 million in a seed round led by Samaipata.

Geomiq, a London, UK-based operator of a B2B marketplace for manufacturing services, announced the completion of a £2.9 million ($4M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Samaipata and joined by Sova VC, Fuel Ventures, Tekton Ventures, and Eka Ventures.

Geomiq, founded in 2016 by Sam Al-Mukhtar and William Hoyer Millar, developed a digital marketplace connecting engineers with manufacturers as it streamlines the entire manufacturing process from quote to delivery. The company says it fulfilled 5 million part orders throughout Europe and counts over 3,000 customers worldwide including GE, BMW, Transport for London, and Brompton Bikes.
