Gigital secures $260k in angel investment from a range of Swedish music executives.

Gigital, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a digital solution for booking artists for professional and private events, announced closing an investment round of SEK 2.4M ($260k).

The investment was provided by local angel investors, active in the Swedish music industry, including Johan Kristiansson, Petter Nylander, Boel Rydenå Swartling, Henrik Borelius and Christian Drougge.

Gigital, founded in 2017 by Givar Shabani, Daniel Gomez and sibling Viktoryia Khromchanka and Andrei Khromchanka, developed a digital marketplace linking artists and event organizers.

The tool aims to provide similar services to the ones offered by traditional booking companies as its tool enables direct negotiation and booking  intermediaries, as well as provides new revenue opportunities and enable the construction of an independent career without complicated agreements and lockouts.
