GoFrendly announced raising SEK 10 million

GoFrendly, a Stockhol, Sweden-based startup operating a social network for women, announced the completion of a SEK 10 million ($1.2 million).

The money was raised from investors from Sweden, including Curitas VenturesZenith Ventures, JNE Invest, and Gerda Larsson, co-founder of the philanthropic investment portfolio The Case For Her.

The company also announced naming a new CEO in the company, Katinka Berg.

GoFrendly, founded in 2016 by Claudia Gård and Ulrika Lilja, developed a mobile social network used by women to find new friends and broaden their networks. The app has 15000 users.

Gofrendly raised less than $1 million, last round announced in 2019 when Zenith joined as investors in the company.
