GoodCourse, a London, UK-based startup building a micro-learning platform, announced that it has raised $770k in pre-seed funding.

The money was raised from investors from Britain, led by RLC Ventures and RTP Capital, and joined by multiple angel investors including Tom Blomfield, Victoria Van Lennep, Matt Robinson and Henry de Zoete.

GoodCourse, founded in 2021 by CEO Chris Mansfield and Omar Mughal, developed a SAAS learning tool helping other companies  reach 80% of workers who don’t work at a computer and, as a result, are often neglected by traditional corporate e-learning solutions. The platform provides access to short-form L&D content, paired with TikTok style explainer videos, directly to learners’ phones. Learners are enrolled by text message which means no apps to download or log-ins required.
