GoodTrust, a Swedish software startup based in Menlo Park, USA-based, announced the completion of a $2.3 million funding round.
The money was raised from a range of investors from the USA, including Bling Capital, Synetro Ventures, and Azure Capital Partners. The deal included contributions from angel investors Nikesh Arora, Bobby Lo, Christian Wiklund, Scott Levitan, Arjan Dijk, Tony Fagan, Jori Pearsall, and Gopi Kallayil.
GoodTrust, founded in 2019 by CEO Rikard Steiber, Markus Thorsveldt, Christian Lagerling, Scott Levitan and Daniel Sieberg, developed a secure digital-legacy platform for online accounts, social media, financial accounts, photos, documents and other digital assets.
The service, which is available via a subscription fee, is aiming to help families that have lost someone take care of their loved one’s digital account. The company also says that it partnered with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs on Veterans Day to offer all veterans free usage of the GoodTrust Premium Plan and a copy of the company’s book, Digital Legacy, co-authored by Steiber and Sieberg.
