Green Eagle Solutions announced raising €2.5M from Kibo Ventures and SET Ventures

Green Eagle Solutions, a Madrid, Spain-based software developer for wind farms and power plants, completed a €2.5M ($3M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from the Spanish VC Kibo Ventures and the Dutch investors from SET Ventures.

As part of the deal, Anton Arts from SET Ventures and Juan Lopez from Kibo Ventures will join the board.

Green Eagle Solutions, founded in , developed a platform used to monitor and analyze renewable energy assets’ performance while creating an automation system to give renewable assets the capability to run autonomously.

The company says that its SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) technology has been implemented in several Spanish energy dispatching centers for the last 5 years, with German energy company RWE using the ARSOS platform to optimise and remotely operate its fleet in Spain and Italy.

Green Eagle Solutions was previously seeded by EDP Ventures from Portugal.
