Haltian adds venture capital from Nordic Option and existing investors.

Haltian, an Oulu, Finland-based boutique product development services company, announced securing an undisclosed amount of capital investment.

Nordic Option Oy – a finnish venture capital company invests in Haltian Oy together with earlier investors, such as Scripo Oy Vencubator. Haltian will use the funds to accelerate its IoT devices platform business called Thingsee. 

Haltian, founded in 2012 by former Nokia team led by CEO Pasi Leipälä, developed Thingsee, which offers a data collection solution for customers to launch and run new commercial IoT solutions to new verticals. The company has a pipeline of 70 enterprise customers under negotiations, with more than 25 pilots.
