Haltian completed a €4.5M investment round led by Inventure.

Haltian, an Oulu, Finland-based product development and IoT services company, announced that it secured a €4.5M ($5.1M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by new and existing investors, led by Finnish venture company Inventure, which contributed with 3 million euro.

The company aims at becoming the leading solution provider in selected enterprise IoT markets and expects rapid growth, as the investment is meant to multiple the company revenues within next years.

Haltian, founded in 2012 by former Nokia employees led by CEO Pasi Leipälä, developed a complete IoT platform and devices under Thingsee brand, which offers a data collection solution for customers to launch and run new commercial IoT solutions to new verticals. The company has 70 employees.

Prior to this deal, Haltian secured capital investment from Nordic Option and Scripo Oy Vencubator.
