Heartbeats was acquired by Aller Media
Heartbeats, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based digital media company, announced that it was acquired by the Danish media group Aller Media.
The deal has the financial details undisclosed. Aller Media A/S purchases 80% of Heartbeats from existing owner Zibra A/S, and Le Gammeltoft, founder and CEO of Heartbeats, continues as CEO and co-owner with a 20% stake.
Zibra A/S, controlled by Niels Zibrandtsen, has been the majority owner since 2017. Heartbeats will operate as an independent subsidiary of Aller Media A/S.
Heartbeats, founded in 2014 is a media producer within culture, lifestyle and society, and has become one of Denmark's leading producers of podcasts.
