HEI Schools announced a €2 million investment round from Practica Capital and Tesi

HEI Schools, a Helsinki, Finland-based education provider, announced the completion of a funding round totalling €2 million ($2.4M).

The money was raised from investors from Lithuania, namely Practica Capital, and from Finland - Tesi Investments.

The proceeds of the investment will be used for growing global HEI Schools community and to further develop the pedagogical concept and materials used by teachers all over the world.

HEI Schools, founded in 2015 CEO Milla Kokko, was launched with the aim of packaging the Finnish early learning model to benefit the different needs of early education operators around the world. The company sells a turn-key concept with a fully branded model, including teacher training, beautiful space design, global community, and operational support in addition to the high-quality curriculum.

HEI Schools partners currently operate fourteen HEI Schools Learning Centers in China, Australia, Indonesia, Korea, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Finland. Sixteen more centers are set to open in 2021 with new locations in the USA, Canada, Kuwait and Thailand.

The company also has some 40 subscribing schools to the digital curriculum model and over 200 teachers from 30 different countries are onboarded at the teacher certificate programme.

HEI Schools previously raised €1.1M in 2018.
