Hivebuy to raise funding from Smart Infrastructure Ventures

Hivebuy, a Berlin, Germany-based startup developing an e-procurement software solution, announced that it secured a capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors including angel investors Nino Ulsamer (Personio co-founder), Jan Kanieß (Payone co-founder), as well as the private venture capital fund Smart Infrastructure Ventures.

In conjuction with the deal, the company's board will add as advisor Alejandro Basterrechea, Head of Indirect Procurement at Zalando SE.

Hivebuy, founded in 2021 by Bettina Fischer and Stefan Kiehne, developed a digital procurement solution which helps small and medium-sized companies simplifying internal purchasing and ordering processes while ensuring transparency and compliance. Customers include Klinik am Zauberwald and the Scale-ups Hypatos GmbH and Home HT.
