Hopper Mobility announced completing a pre-seed funding round.
Hopper Mobility, an Augsburg, Germany-based startup working on the development of a hybrid vehicle, announced the completion of a pre-seed funding round.
Financial details and the name of the investors remained undisclosed.
Hopper Mobility, founded in 2019 by Martin Halama, Torben Müller-Hansen, Philipp Herrmann and Georg Schieren, is developing what they call an innovative mobility solution for the city, namely a hybrid vehicle that is a combination between an e-bike and a car. The vehicle is using solar batteries that can power it up to distance ranging up to 60 kilometers and can be doubled to up to 120 kilometers with an optional additional battery. The product is expected to be launched by the end of 2022 in a pre-series mode, and be available in the market by 2023.
