Housell secured €12 million from Cerberus and Aviv group

Housell, a Madrid, Spain-based real estate company, announced that it completed a capital raise transaction of €12 million ($13.6M).

The money was invested by existing investor, Cerberus, and Axel Springer's investment vehicle, Aviv Group. After the transaction, Aviv will control 20% of the company's shares.

Housell was founded in 2016 by Guillermo Llibre as an online real estate services platform. It has a 60% market share in Spain and has sold more than 2,000 homes to date.

In early 2017, Housell was acquired by Cerberus for €3.9 million.
